  • 2. Mathematical Biology: JAM is interested in papers that apply mathematical techniques to biological problems, such as population dynamics, epidemiology, genetics, and systems biology.
  • 3. Mathematical Finance: We encourage submissions that use mathematical models to analyze financial markets, risk assessment, option pricing, and other aspects of financial engineering.
  • 4. Mathematical Physics: Research that applies mathematical methods to solve problems in physics, including quantum mechanics, general relativity, and condensed matter physics, is within our scope.
  • 5. Mathematics of Computation and Data Science: JAM seeks to publish work on algorithms, computational complexity, machine learning, and the mathematical foundations of data analysis and big data.
  • 6. Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computation: We are interested in research that develops and analyzes numerical methods for solving mathematical problems, including but not limited to partial differential equations, integral equations, and optimization problems.
  • 7. Optimization: JAM welcomes research on the theory and application of optimization techniques, including linear programming, nonlinear programming, and multi-objective optimization.
  • 8. Statistical and Computational Physics: We encourage submissions that focus on the statistical aspects of physical systems, computational methods in physics, and the development of computational models for physical phenomena.
  • 9. Statistics and Probability: Research on statistical theory, methods, and applications, as well as probability theory and stochastic processes, falls within the scope of JAM.
